De film:
Chyna is dé stylist van de buurt. In de kapsalon die ze runt met haar zussen wordt ze niet alleen bewonderd om haar talent, maar ook omdat ze de vriendin is van Raoul; de man die iedereen begeert. Achter gesloten deuren is de relatie echter niet wat die lijkt. Wanneer Raoul gewelddadiger wordt, beseft Chyna meer en meer dat ze zal moeten breken met alles wat ze ooit gekend heeft. Voor haar eigen veiligheid en die van haar dochtertje Sugar. Terwijl Chyna moed verzamelt, wordt één ding pijnlijk duidelijk: Raoul laat haar niet zomaar gaan.
